Arctic Ski Camp is a one-of-a-kind ski camp for 18–35 year olds. Organized in small groups of up to eight, affordable and all encompassing opportunity to ski/snowboard and experience Lapland for solo travelers and small groups. In addition to tens of hours of skiing in two different ski resorts , camp embarks on several adventures to explore the wonders of Lapland. All in a company of like-minded people.
The camp takes place in Levi, a fell in the heart of Finnish Lapland and home to Finland’s most popular ski resort. Levi’s slopes offer a versatile mix of terrain and breathtaking Lapland scenery, making them exciting for experienced skiers yet comfortable for beginners to learn on. Its location provides the perfect balance between untouched nature and vibrant activity. Just a 15-minute drive from Levi’s lively center - filled with restaurants, shops and après-ski bars - you can find places so tranquil and pristine that they almost feel unreal
Itinerary
DAY 1 - On the day of arrival, we will all meet at the cottage from 17:00. Depending on the way you are arriving to Levi, we can arrange a pick-up from most locations that are close to Levi, such as the Kittilä airport or main bus stop. On the first evening you will have time to settle in and meet other travelers. We will eat dinner together (provided on the first evening), a short briefing and have a proper rest for the coming week.
DAY 2 - On the first day of skiing we are going to have an early breakfast and pickup rental equipment for those who are travelling without their own skis/snowboards. After that some will join a ski lesson and other part of the group will go skiing with a camp leader. After midday we will have a break from skiing and have lunch at the cottage. After the break we will get to ski more as the slopes are open until 17/18. After returning from the slopes we will go to the nearby store. In the evening we will have a relaxing sauna evening.
DAY 3 - Our morning will go in a similar manner: breakfast, skiing, lunch in a cottage and some more skiing. Husky safari (optional excursion) will take place in the afternoon (around 14). Those not going on husky safari will continue to enjoy skiing. In the evening we will depart on the Northern Lights hunt.
DAY 4 - We will start our morning with a breakfast, but after skiing in the morning we will have lunch in a hut on the slopes. After skiing more in the afternoon, those participating in the snowmobile safari will leave the slopes a little bit earlier and enjoy the thrilling excursion.
DAY 5 - After three days on the slopes we will take a break from skiing and have a resting day. Travelers will have a choice how to spend their day. Some will depart on a hiking trip, others can independently partake in different activities (not included in the price) offered around Levi, such as snowhoeing, nordic skiing, ice carrting, snowtoobing and so on. We are still going to have breakfast together and lunch will be served at the cottage or hiking trip.
DAY 6 - After an early breakfast we will drive to Ylläs located an hour away from Levi. We will have lunch on the slopes and ski the whole day. Straight after Ylläs we head to the Nordic Spa and relax after a long day.
DAY 7 - We will spend our last full day skiing in Ylläs . We will try to depart early to have a proper day on the slopes. We will have a portable lunch in a warm car. In the evening we will have dinner together and throw a little farewell party. The strongest will have a chance to experience local bars.
DAY 8 - On the day of departure we will have a filling breakfast before your return trip. After check-out we will drive you to a bus stop, airport or other point near Levi.

+ Ski/snowboard lessons will become available to book in October. While pricing has not yet been published, ski/snowboard lessons in Levi are very expensive, starting at €140 for a 90 minute lesson. We always recommend taking courses at the home resort.

All dietary requirements have to be communicated at least 14 days prior to the trip.
After sending us a booking request we will ask you to pay a non-returnable booking payment, which is €300 of the camp's price (without optional add-ons). The rest will be paid at the camp in Levi on the day of arrival.
If you are a citizen of non-EU country, travel insurance covering skiing is required.
Prices for optional additions, such as safaris or equipment rental, might change. Some companies haven't yet published price lists for the coming season. We will update the prices as soon as we know them.
The itinerary above is subject to change due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or other factors. While all promised activities will be provided, the schedule may be adjusted to ensure the best possible camp experience.
