Why fly to Kittilä
Kittilä airport is located only a ten minute drive away from Levi, a ski resort and small Lapland town, one of the most popular destinations of Lapland.
Other airports
Kittilä airport is not the only airport in Lapland, and it is not even the most popular. The biggest airport in Lapland is Rovaniemi, located two hours from Kittilä and Levi. It sees more flights and is located close to the city of Rovaniemi. There are daily buses between Levi/Kittilä and Rovaniemi, so if you want to get to either of them, you can also fly to the other airport. In addition to the above mentioned airports, Ivalo and Kuusamo (close to Lapland) also have international flights.
